Villa in Tuscany

The project is characterized by a L shape plan integrated in a typical Tuscany hilly context characterized by vineyards and olive trees.

A long distribution corridor connects the bedrooms to the large living area (living, kitchen and studio) connected to the surrounding through tree large openings. The characterizing materials are a local stone, alberese, used for as exterior cladding conceived as a layer underneath witch the shouter disappears sliding.

The interiors are characterized by a paving inspired by Scarpa, executed with local materials: hand cut cotto tiles, with dimension proportionated to the room size, drawn into cement with Carrara marble grit.

Custom furniture are made with oak and Carrara marble.
