The project is about the restoration of a portion of an ancient palace in the Torricelle’s foothills in Verona.
The façade, under Heritage restriction, has been restored including the reopening of closed windows.
Following the client’s request, the three levels above ground are divided in 2 apartments; the first one, on the ground and first floor, is characterized by an internal distribution strongly influenced by the facade openings.
The plan of the second, on the roof top, thanks to the new roof structure has been cleared from all structural constrains.
The panoramic view of the city of Verona defines the central double height living space.
Around it, a wood volume became the container of the service spaces: kitchen, bathroom, storage and a stairs that leads to the bedroom located on the loft with a big opening on the living.
