The design proposal the transformation of a rural building, originally used as an agricultural storage facility, into a restaurant connected to the Casale dello Sparviero winery.
The existing structure, once divided into several rooms, is located along the ridge of a hill. Its section, articulated on multiple levels, follows the natural slope of the terrain.
The design involves the emptying of the interior spaces while preserving the differences in section, which become a defining feature of the spatial experience.
The service areas are arranged along one side, while on the opposite side the large existing openings frame views of the valley and the surrounding vineyards.
A large fireplace serves as the central focus of the entrance and the wine tasting area, marking the symbolic and functional heart of the space.
